Shiva’s Gold and Gems is one of the oldest and most respected jewelers in Aruba and St. Maarten. The Alwani family has been in the jewelry and watch business for over three generations and in the Caribbean since 1972. There are probably hundreds of jewelry stores along Front Street, all trying to get your attention, but we highly recommend Shiva’s as a place to go to.

We just returned from the wonderful Island of St Masrten, which is filled with an amazing amount of jewelry stores. We walked into Shiva’s in Phillipsburg, and found an amazing store, filled with watches rings, bracelets, necklaces, and… More every kind of jewelry you could imagine. The owner, Ajay, helped us directly and showed us everything that was new and exciting. One of the exciting things was the fact that the prices were very reasonable for the high-quality jewelry that they had. I highly recommend a visit to Shiva’s on your visit to the Island. We made our first purchase from Shiva's during our vacation in St Maarten and they got a life long customer now. We entered the store just to see things and not ready to buy anything. Anup Sharma attended us and he was willing to show… More us and never pushed us into buying and we left the store without buying anything. We looked at online reviews on Shiva's, got impressed and went back the next day. Bought a pendant and matching ear rings. Anup gave us a good price and he sent the receipt and appraisal a few days later by email. I took the jewelry to famous independent appraiser in Boston and he confirmed the Clarity, Color and Value of the items exactly as mentioned in the appraisal provided by Shiva's. There is a considerable difference between the appraised value and what we paid. We felt we got real value for what we paid. We will visit Shiva's whenever we visit St Maarten or Aruba in future and will order over phone when we are not travelling. I would recommend them to anyone who visits these islands too
