Hublot: The Art of Fusion
At Shiva’s Gold & Gems, Hublot is just one of many watch brands that we are proud to represent. Founded in Switzerland in 1980, Hublot is defined by its innovative concept, which began with the highly original combination of gold and rubber: the “Art of Fusion”. The release of the iconic, multi-award-winning Big Bang in 2005 paved the way for new flagship collections like the Classic Fusion and Spirit of Big Bang with complications ranging from the simple to the highly sophisticated, establishing the extraordinary DNA of the Swiss watchmaking house and ensuring its impressive growth.
Classic Fusion Aerofusion Chronograph Orlinski
Today we have not one, not two, but three incredible timepieces to show off.
First up is the Classic Fusion Aerofusion Chronograph Orlinski. With its 45mm polished red ceramic case with a unique faceted design by Richard Orlinski, a black and red skeleton dial, and red smooth rubber strap with a secure buckle, this statement Hublot men’s timepiece is sure to turn heads with its bold personality.
Powered by a self-winding chronograph movement with a 42-hour power reserve and water-resistant to 50 meters, this exclusive watch is limited to only 200 pieces. A sapphire crystal glass offers further protection, while two chronograph sub-dials enhance functionality.
Big Bang Meca 10 Ceramic Blue
Next up we have the Big Bang Meca 10 Ceramic Blue. The mechanics of this timepiece are just as innovative as the materials comprising them. Developed over a span of two years, its manually-wound skeleton calibre, with a 10-day power reserve, contains 223 parts.
A testament to beauty and technical expertise, it has two barrels parallel to the power reserve indicator: a cogwheel system with two rakes sliding along a horizontal axis. Accentuating this mechanical architecture, an opening at 3 o’clock reveals a red dot when the movement is nearing the end of its power reserve, while a gearwheel at 6 o’clock indicates the exact number of days remaining and the regulating organ, coupled with the small second regulator, appears at 7 o’clock.
Big Bang Unico Sapphire Galaxy
And finally, the best for last – the Hublot Big Bang Unico Sapphire Galaxy. At 45mm complete with polished sapphire crystal case, a polished 18K white gold bezel set with 48 baguette-cut amethysts, rose sapphires, orange sapphires, fuchsia sapphires, madagascar sapphires, and blue sapphires – I mean, do I need to go on? This sapphire crystal watch comes with a self-winding movement with a chronograph flyback and column wheel and approximately 72 hours of power reserve.
